Chlorinated Polyethylene

TYRIN chlorinated polyethylene, referred to as CPE, is exclusively produced by DuPont Dow Elastomers. It is manufactured by combining chlorinated polyethylene in
an aqueous slurry. Special high-density polyethylene is used before chlorination. Different grades have different chlorine content
(from 25% to 42% by weight), crystallinity, molecular weight, viscosity, etc. TYRIN is in powder form, with an average particle size
ranging from 12 to 60 mesh, depending on the product brand. Easy to process in many injection (INJECTION), extrusion (EXTRUSION) and blending
applications, this polymer provides compounding (COMPOUND) and manufactures industrial products with a range of hardness.

The important properties of the manufactured products include:

□Improve impact resistance

□Flame resistant

□Excellent chemical resistance

□Excellent compatibility (such as PVC, PE, styrene/acrylic acid (SAN), acrylic/butadiene/styrene (ABS) and
other polymers, etc.)

□Excellent low temperature properties. Good weather resistance

□Can accept high filling

□ Good heat and light stabilizer

□Duct, vinyl siding, door and window frames semi-soft and soft furnishings

□As blended with PVC, polyethylene and other polymers

□Improve properties (e.g. permanent plasticizer) soft products

Product use/soft materials

□Wire and cable ingredients-----Coating

□Special-shaped extrusion-----liner, inner tube

□Molded body-----Type 1 and Type 2 conduit connectors

□Fabric coating-----extrusion coating on fabric

□Tube-----Chemical transportation and storage of hard ingredients

□As impact modifier and/or processing aid

□Reduce cost, add filler without becoming brittle

□Improve pigment dispersion and/or consistency of properties

The manufacturer's concerns about product properties include the following points:

□Solvent resistance, dielectric (DIELECTRIC) and heat sealability (HEAT SEALABILITY)

□Ozone resistance, UV resistance and weather resistance

□Flame resistance, processing stability and thermal aging

□Little or negligible odor, taste and plasticizer migration (MIGRATION)

□High elongation and low temperature impact resistance

□The use of TYRIN thermoplastic resin for resistance to diameter and mildew can help manufacturers and compounders increase the realization of important product functions and provide users
with high-value products to increase the competitiveness of the company's products in the market.
