Chlorosulfonated polyethylene (C8M for short) anticorrosive coating is a newly developed special anticorrosive coating with excellent performance (foreign name: Haibolong). It is mainly composed of CSM, improved resin, vulcanizer, accelerator, filler, organic solvent, etc. It is obtained by chlorosulfonation reaction of polyethylene. It has polar group chlorine and chlorosulfonic acid group and its molecular saturation, so it has excellent chemical, physical and mechanical properties such as anti-oxidation, resistance to natural aging, acid and alkali resistance, and resistance to chemical media. This coating is a multifunctional comprehensive anticorrosive coating, its performance is better than epoxy, epoxy asphalt, perchloroethylene, chlorinated rubber, polyurethane and other anticorrosive coatings, the service life is 1-3 times longer than the commonly used perchloroethylene, polyurethane, etc., the anticorrosion cost can be saved by 40 to 60%, it has excellent corrosion resistance to strong acid, strong alkali and inorganic salt media, and has the characteristics of water resistance, oil resistance, heat resistance, cold resistance and resistance to chloride ion radiation; and it is also suitable for gas phase and liquid phase corrosion protection, creating convenient conditions for design and construction. Various technical performance indicators are at the domestic advanced level. This coating is the latest product in contemporary anti-corrosion coatings, and it has a long service life and is cheap. It is widely used in anti-corrosion projects such as walls, steel structures and equipment and facilities of chemical companies in the petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, light industry, textile, printing and dyeing industries.
